PKA's remodelling and conservation of 51 Dawson Street has been shortlisted for an award in the 2020 Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland Awards. Entered for both the conservation and workplace awards, PKA's project comprises a top-to-bottom remodelling of three run-down Georgian townhouses; retaining the existing ground floor retail and restaurant uses; upgrading the office suites on the floors above; and converting the top two levels on the Duke Street / Dawson Street corner into a stylish duplex apartment. Shortlisted from the 129 entries submitted, the awards in 13 categories will be presented at the October RIAI annual conference.
