Paul Keogh B.Arch MA RCA FRIAI FRIBA (director) studied at University College Dublin and the Royal College of Art, London. Prior to commencing practice he worked in the offices of James Stirling, de Blacam and Meagher and the OPW. He has lectured widely in Ireland, the UK, Europe,  America and Asia. He is a former president of the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (2010-2012) and a fellow of the RIBA.


Rachael Chidlow BA MA RCA MSDI (director) studied at Manchester University before obtaining her masters in environmental design at the Royal College of Art. She has won numerous awards for her work in interior design including the Goldsmiths Company and Glen Dimplex Awards.


Ellen Mathews M.Arch, RIAI, ARB, DIP CL (director) studied at Queen’s University Belfast and University College Dublin, where she received a first-class honours degree in 2014. A registered architect in both the UK and Ireland, Ellen joined PKA in 2016, becoming a director of the practice in 2021. She obtained a diploma in construction law from the Law Society of Ireland in 2020.


Brighdín Ní Mhaille BA MArch RIAI (associate) studied at DIT obtaining a first-class honours degree in architecture in 2005. Having spent 2002-03 at the Ecole d’Architecture, Languedoc Rousillon, France, she joined Paul Keogh Architects in 2005 and has been project architect on a number of the practice’s most prestigious projects.


Kevin Nolan CDVEC / CDV (associate) studied architectural technology at Pearse College Dublin and joined PKA in 1994. He spent 2000-2004 in Australia working on large scale projects, including the University of Ballarat, Victoria and the University of New South Wales, Sydney.


Clare Gorman BArch (int.) MArch RIAI (associate) obtained her masters degree, with distinction, at Dundee University, following an undergraduate degree in interior design at Sligo IT. Prior to joining PKA in 2017, she spent periods working in architecture practices in Scotland, New Zealand and Ireland.
