Profile

Since the formation of the practice in 1984, Paul Keogh Architects’ commitment to the highest standards of design quality and professional practice have positioned PKA among the leading Irish architects of today.

A design-led practice with three directors, three associates and a highly-skilled team, PKA brings a unique combination of creativity, expertise and experience to every project we undertake - from small one-off commissions to major public works.

Our portfolio contains an extensive body of buildings and projects for a prestigious client list comprising government, local authorities, companies, voluntary bodies and private individuals.

PKA has been included in the RIAI Directory of Practices since the early 1990s, and all the firm’s qualified architects are listed on the Register of Architects set up under the 2007 Building Control Act.

Working from our own-design Dublin 8 studio, PKA provides a full range of architectural services - on both new-build and remodelling projects - in architecture, interiors, conservation and urban design.

Our pursuit to excellence is validated by the 30-plus awards and commendations that PKA has received over three decades in the RIAI, AAI, IPI and ICSH awards; as well as in the RIAI silver medal for housing and the Union of International Architects’ Abercrombie Medal - one of international architecture’s most prestigious prizes - for our work with Group 91 on the regeneration of Dublin’s Temple Bar.

"The house is everything we hoped for: a great combination of conserving its historic character in making a modern family home. Working with Paul and Rachael’s team was a great experience; they kept to budget and programme, and we always felt involved."       Client citation, 15 Belgrave Road, RIAI Awards
