Working with the Dublin City Architects office, Purcell Construction, CORA Consulting Engineers, Don O’Malley & Partners, and Rogerson Reddan, we hope Glin Court will contribute to the wellbeing of its residents and the community in which it’s located.

Completed for Dublin City Council in 2025, the universally designed development was officially opened by Lord Mayor of Dublin, Cllr. Ray McAdam, who described Glin Court as, “A major step forward in delivering inclusive, sustainable housing that truly supports our older residents.”

PKA’s 62-unit housing scheme located on the Kylemore Road, Ballyfermot, was also the proud recipient of an Age Friendly Ireland Housing Award last year.

The awards took place on the 30th of November, 2023, with the Age Friendly Housing Award recognising innovative housing initiatives that enable older people to remain independent for as long as possible.

One of the core objectives of the Cornamona Court development was to create opportunities for older tenants of council-owned houses to be rehoused into purpose-designed apartments within their own neighbourhood.

A top-to-bottom remodelling of 3 no. run-down Georgian townhouses, the project comprised the upgrade of the ground floor retail and restaurant units, new serviced office suites above, and a stunning duplex apartment on the top levels of the Dawson Street / Duke Street corner.
