Paul Keogh BArch MA RCA FRIAI FRIBA (Director) studied at University College Dublin and the Royal College of Art, London. Prior to commencing practice he worked in the offices of James Stirling, de Blacam and Meagher and the OPW. He has lectured widely in Ireland, the UK, Europe, America and Asia. He is a former president of the RIAI (2010-2012) and a fellow of the RIBA. Paul has performed a leading role in the design and delivery of over 20 successful social housing developments, including award-winning schemes such as Glin Court, Cornamona Court, and Liberty House.
Rachael Chidlow BA MA RCA MSDI (Director) studied at Manchester University before obtaining her masters in Environmental Design at the Royal College of Art, London. Before joining PKA in 1987, she worked with de Blacam and Meagher on a number of highly acclaimed projects including Trinity College Dublin. A member of the Society of Designers of Ireland, she has won numerous awards for her work in interior design including the Goldsmiths Company Prize and the Glen Dimplex Award.
Brighdín Ní Mháille BA MArch MRIAI (Associate Director) studied at The Dublin School of Architecture, obtaining a first-class honours degree in architecture in 2005. Having spent 2002-03 at the Ecole d’Architecture, Languedoc Rousillon, France, she joined Paul Keogh Architects in 2005 and has been Project Architect on a number of the practice’s most prestigious, award-winning projects including Glin Court, Cornamona Court and Liberty House.
Paul Maher BArch ARB RIBA MRIAI (Associate Director) studied at The Dublin School of Architecture, obtaining an honours bachelor degree in 2012. After working for award-wining practices in Rotterdam, New York, and London, Paul joined PKA in 2022, and has led the delivery of a number of PKA’s complex housing and public realm projects, including on Design & Build projects using MMC.
Martin Burzlaff BArch MRIAI (Associate Director) joined PKA in 2022 having gained over a decade of professional experience in Melbourne, Australia. A graduate of The Dublin School of Architecture, he has extensive on-site and contract administration experience on residential projects varying in scale from domestic extensions to large scale apartment buildings.
Kevin Nolan CDVEC CDV (Associate) studied architectural technology at Pearse College Dublin and joined PKA in 1994. He spent 2000-2004 in Australia working on large scale projects, including the University of Ballarat, Victoria and the University of New South Wales, Sydney. Since then, he has been responsible for the quality of PKA’s tender and construction documentation on the practice’s most prestigious projects public realm and housing projects.
